Regardless, one thing that has helped me a lot in my personal study and in preparing lessons has been to create infographics where I draw out various concepts or times in history that have confused me as I read the Bible.
This collection (with the exception of the last two–and there is an interesting tale about them and A.I.) contains some that my students have found most useful. The red arrow on the image here is pointing to the chart that’s gotten over 70,000 downloads.
