The Bible805 ministry has several podcasts all focused on how to help you know, trust, apply, and teach the Bible.
QUICK LINKS to the podcasts follow and below them is an overall description of how to listen and then detailed descriptions of each one.
Current Podcasts from Yvon Prehn and Bible805
After each description is a link directly back to the podcast host and that has the transcripts available on each episode link. The podcasts are also available on the Bible805 YouTube channel, www.YouTube.com/Bible805. I put them there because it is an easy and free way to listen. It’s just an audio cover and the voice. Though I did up videos of me podcasting for a time, it actually seemed quite silly (what is the point of looking at someone talk into a microphone?), and when I got skin cancer on the tip of my nose that necessitated a temporary rather disfiguring or I should say, vanity destroying surgery, I found I could do the podcasts just fine without a video of myself.
In addition to the website and YouTube, the podcasts are also available on many podcast sources including iTunes, Spotify, iHeart radio, Amazon Music, Pocket Casts, and many more. Just go to your favorite and do a search for whatever podcast title below that you’d like to listen to. In addition, you can listen to any of them on www.YouTube.com/Bible805.

Hobo Soul Podcast, road advice from the Bible and someone a few steps ahead
Description: This is my newest and favorite podcast, where I talk directly to the people I care about with short Bible lessons and challenges for their day. It’s more upbeat and casual than the strictly Bible-teaching podcasts. Overall, Hobo Soul podcasts will cover a variety of topics related to going through life as a follower of Jesus. They are stand-alone in content and don’t need to be listened to in any particular order.
Schedule: I am committed to doing the podcast 5 times a week, with occasional longer podcasts on “Serious Saturdays.” Pray for me. It is a huge amount of work, but I love doing it—talking directly to the people about Jesus, His Word, and what it means to walk with Him.

Bible805, Lessons and commentary to help you know, trust, apply, and teach the Bible
Description: In this podcast, my goal is to help you know, trust, apply, and teach the Bible. To do that, this podcast is primarily a collection of lesson series on a variety of Biblical and Bible-related topics. Its purpose is to provide in-depth studies, historical background, and challenging applications, but they are not heavy-duty, hard-to-understand theological lectures.
As one of my students said (and this has been a frequent comment on my teaching, “You make hard stuff easy.” The series on the Trinity has been particularly helpful to people in this way.
In the past, I used this podcast title to go through the Bible chronologically, and though the past episodes are available, the newer podcast on Thru the Bible, 2026, which follows, is much better for a year-long tour through the Bible.
Links to videos, notes, discussion guides, and related infographics are in the show notes of the podcasts and on www.Bible805.com, and materials that enable you to teach the lessons are available on www.Bible805Academy.com.
Schedule: I attempt to get out one each week as I do series from my live classes, but this is not guaranteed. However, I will sometimes upload a series that I have re-recorded. Sign up for notification of new episodes on your podcast source of choice. A consistent schedule of released lessons is planned for April 2026.

Thru the Bible cover to cover in Chronological Order Podcast
Description: This is a re-recording and revision of my previous teaching through the Bible. I am updating the lessons primarily so they can be more available for teaching, plus removing small errors and in some places adding new materials. To make them more useful for others to teach, I’m removing as much branding and personal identification as I can from the podcasts and videos. In addition, I’m adding Notes and an all-new Discussion Guide with questions, application suggestions, and journaling prompts. The Notes and Discussion Guides are available in both easily editable RTF and PDF formats. The audio file of the podcast, video of the PowerPoint, and all other materials without any advertisements or Affiliate Marketing links, plus fully editable PowerPoint files, plus the Notes and Discussion Guides will all be available, editable, and free to use without attribution from the www.Bible805Academy.com. The only limitation is that you cannot reformat and sell them as your own. You are encouraged to give them away freely.
Though this series does go through the Bible, individual lessons on various books, sections of the Bible, and various topics can be listened to as stand-alone episodes.
Schedule: My plan is to have new lessons are out each Wednesday with the material uploaded to the www.Bible805.com website and the www.Bible805Academy.com as soon as possible. The consistent plan of releasing new lessons and episodes is scheduled for April 2026.

Ministry Miscellany Podcast
Description: I’ve been teaching the Bible and involved in Christian ministry pretty much all my life, and along the way, I trust I’ve accumulated some experience that may be useful. I’ll share advice and lessons learned, plus updates on current resources and how to best use them from the Bible805 ministry. The content is extremely random, a true miscellany, from the most simple (why ice-breakers are essential) to technical (how you can influence A.I.) to strategic (how to get people to come back to church after seasonal events) and resource based (through the Bible schedules and books that will help people grow in their faith).
In passing on resources, be assured that Bible805 never has and never will take any advertising or participate in any affiliate marketing programs. My ministry and my presentations are totally independent, not beholden to any outside organization. The only resources that have a cost will be the books that I have for sale on Amazon and other sites—all the teaching resources I tell you about, infographics, and any downloadable tools for teaching are totally free. If I recommend anything that does cost, it is because I truly believe it might be helpful to you and not for any monetary gain and I do not get any money for recommending anything.
Schedule: Along with the content, the schedule for this podcast is random for now.
