I am praying about this and possibly in the next few years will seek nonprofit status.
At present, I am working so hard and many hours to simply get the content for Bible805 out on a consistent basis. I don’t have time to do all the work required for nonprofit status and I also don’t have the extra filing fees it will take to get a nonprofit entity put together. I do however need and would greatly appreciate your support now.
My goal and prayer is that the current system for donations will become such that I can make a stable income from it and pay for the ministry expenses. At that time, if the Lord leads I will then look at becoming a nonprofit.
My goal in doing that will be primarily for the ability to make certain that the content I have and am creating will be available to people who want and need it.
I realize that nonprofit status does provide tax benefits to those who contribute to it but as a Bible teacher, I must point out that nowhere in the Bible is that a requirement for giving.
The Bible is clear that those who benefit from a ministry should give to the ministry so that the person creating whatever is of benefit might continue to do that, not because of any financial benefit to the giver.
Please know there is no guilt implied for anyone if they feel differently and it is above all my great joy to create the materials I do regardless of any income from them.
Regardless of any financial support, I will continue to create materials for Bible805 as long as the Lord gives me life and strength.
